1. A copy of the notice of gathering template in terms of section 3 of the Regulation of Gatherings Act 205 of 1993.

2. A list detailing:
2.1 The number of notices of gathering in terms of section 3 of the Regulation of Gatherings Act received since 1 January 2015 to date of submission of PAIA request;
2.2 The number of convener’s meetings in terms of section 4 of the Regulation of Gatherings Act held since 1 January 2015 to date of submission of PAIA request;
2.3 The number of gatherings prohibited or prevented in terms of section 5 of the Regulation of Gatherings Act since 1 January 2015 to date of submission of PAIA request, and the reasons for the prohibition or prevention;
2.4 The number of gatherings authorized with conditions in terms of section 4 of the Regulation of Gatherings Act since 1 January 2015 to date of submission of PAIA request; and
2.5 The number of gatherings authorized in terms of section 4 of the Regulation of Gatherings Act since 1 January 2015 to date of submission of PAIA request.

3. For a copy of Training Manuals and Training Materials (but specifically excluding those done at the national level) relating to the conduct and / or training of persons designated in terms of section 2(4) of the Regulation of Gatherings Act as a “responsible officer”.

A list of the name, rank, contact details and work address, and area of jurisdiction of all persons designated as a "Responsible Officer" in terms of section 2(4) of the Regulation of Gatherings Act.

A list of the name, rank, contact details and work address, and area of jurisdiction of all persons designated as a “Responsible Officer” appointed in terms of section 2 (4)(a) and which includes any person deemed in terms of section 2 (4)(b) of the Regulation of Gatherings Act 205 of 1993.

Copies of Standard Operating Procedures, National Instructions, Standing Orders or Guidelines relating to the video camera operator and members of the public filming and recording police operations.

Copies of all Standard Operating Procedures, National Instructions, Guidelines, Training Manuals and Standing orders relating to the procurement, testing, and use of crowd management equipment.

Copies of Standard Operating Procedures, National Instructions, Guidelines, Policies, Protocols, Training Manuals and Standing orders which relate to the procurement, testing, training, deployment and use of crowd management equipment (including surveillance equipment, devices and soft/hardware), weapons (including crowd-control / less lethal weapons and devices), and ammunition. Noting that to the extent that any records forming a part of the request may or must be refused we are still seeking access to every other record forming part of the request.

Records reflecting the make and model of all crowd management equipment, weapons and ammunition for use by Public Order Police Units and any other unit in the execution of peaceful crowd management.

(iii) ammunition, whether standard or specialised (a) used, (b) procured in the last twelve months or (c) in the process of being procured for use by Public Order Police Units and any other unit in the execution of peaceful crowd management and public order restoration operations. Noting that to the extent that any records forming a part of the request may or must be refused we are still seeking access to every other record forming part of the request.
